Lok Satta Party strongly condemns Delhi bomb blasts in which many lost their lives and scores were injured. Lok Satta Party expresses its condolences to the family members of victims of Delhi bomb blasts. The frequent terrorist attacks on India should be met by all of us with strength and determination.    

Today, India is being perceived as a kleptocratic state whose institutions are getting corroded from within. We cannot combat terrorism with rampant corruption and criminal-politician nexus. We cannot root-out terrorism by practicing sectarian and divisive politics. Given this, we need to quickly strengthen our administrative apparatus by creating a specialized and a unified federal agency to combat the menace of terrorism. We have to bring in new laws that will empower our police and investigative agencies without undermining the fundamental human rights of our citizens. We need to bring about fundamental administrative and political reforms that will enable our governments prevent and respond to all terrorist activities with alacrity.

 It is time for us to set aside politics of expediency and have unwavering focus on national security. We must transcend sectarian divides and launch united effort to crush terrorism in India.
