Lok Satta Party national President Dr. Jayaprakash Narayan will be addressing a global conference on the corruption menace in India at Bambolim near Panjim in Goa on Sunday, November 4.

Tehelka magazine is organizing the event titled THiNK 2012 to discuss key disciplines like politics, technology, science, economics, environment, medicine, cinema and sports that impact human affairs around the globe.

Dr. JP will speak on the nature of corruption in India and how it is to be comabted and analyze the deficiencies in the recent anti-corruption movements. He willexplain how the nexus between politics and big business can be moderated and how a new politics for a new India should be forged.

Participants in this year’s event include Messrs Montek Singh Ahluwalia, Salman Khurshid, Sitaram Yechury, Praful Patel, Vasundhara Raje Scindia, Gopal Subramaniam, Ulka Mahajan, Shiv Shankar Menon and Shahrukh Khan.

Lok Satta Party national President Dr. Jayaprakash Narayan said he was deeply shocked over the tragic death of TDP senior leader and former Union Minister K. Yerrannaidu in a road accident in the early hours of Friday.

In a media statement, Dr. JP conveyed his condolences to the bereaved family and said that his death leaves a big void in the public life of north coastal Andhra.

Dr. JP underlined the need for focusing on traffic regulation and safety measures considering that more than 100,000 people, many of them in the prime of their life, die every year in road accidents in India. India has the dubious distinction of recording the largest number of road accident fatalities, he added.

Lok Satta, Yuva Satta state leaders Katari Srinivasa Rao, Bhisetti Babji, Prof. D. Vishnumurthy, P.Rambabu visited Nimmada village in Srikakulam district and paid homage to the body of Mr.Yerrannaidu. They conveyed their condolences to the bereaved family members.
